Michael is currently a senior consultant with Omniture, an Adobe company. Michael consults for clients of Omniture Insight, helping with user development and the growth of business analysis within organizations using the tool. He is an Omniture Certified Professional Insight Architect and an Omniture Certified Professional Insight Analyst.

Prior to Omniture, he was a program manager and online marketing strategist in the online group at Rodgers Townsend in St. Louis, a full service creative communications company. Matt Clement, Digital Technology and Analytics Director at Rodgers Townsend, says, "Mike has this great ability to lead a strategic discussion while answering deep technical and design questions with ease. He's both focused and intelligent."

At Rodgers Townsend, he architected and produced one of the "top 12 Viral sites of the year" according to Marketing Sherpa. AT&T's award-winning partnership site with the National Arbor Day Foundation promoted AT&T's paperless billing service, encouraging customers to plant their own virtual tree in a virtual forest and make a difference in their environment by signing up for "e-Bill."

Michael also contributed his talents to a highly effective viral site for the charity Network for Good during the 2005 holiday season. In a busy December following a devastating tsunami, earthquake and domestic hurricane, Network for Good experienced a 400 percent increase in donation levels during a time when extreme donor fatigue was expected.

Before RT, Michael worked for three years as Sr. Project Manager of interactive media at Avatar Studios, a St. Louis-based media production house. He previously worked at Worldmember and at KPNT/WVRV/KXOK St. Louis (when owned by Sinclair Broadcasting) as online director and sales promotion manager.

In his youth, Michael spent nine summers ('91-'97, '99-2000) on the summer camp staff of Trails West Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He has been active in national OA Shows since 1994, having acted in a Theme Show, co-directed Theme Shows, served as technical director, authored a Theme Show, and more. He is an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Honor member and Founders Award recipient in the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's National Honor Society.

Outside of home and family, Michael is currently most active at Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City, where he is a music director, member of the liturgy committee and co-chairs the Why Catholic? program in the parish (with his wife Suzanne.)

He has also been a guest lecturer at the School of Law at the University of Mississippi on issues at the merging point of copyright, online, and creativity.

Both a leader in the community and a proponent for change on the Web, Michael makes great strides daily to utilize every emerging communication channel in reaching the audience.
